Ischemic lower leg
My mother is 97 years old. She was admitted to hospital with a purple lower leg on Wednesday. Sent home after 24 hours with the claim that the cause was atherosclerosis and that nothing could be done. Next day the GP prescribed morphine patches and co-codamol (for "blood clot"). The leg has turned dark purple now. What should I do (son).
