Issues dealing with work pressure
I am a 23 year old girl having made a job shift in Jan this year. As I entered a new field, I put in my best to learn as much as possible. I succeeded in this to quite an extent and hence was moved to one level up position by June. While I picked up things quickly, I now hear that you need to pace up and do 1000 more things over and above regular jobs. I have been really struggling to keep my boss satisfied and hence have been feeling a lot pressurized and depressed every day. Constant tension.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Continued stress at work without adequate support can lead to psychological problems like anxiety and depression. Hence it is advised to seek Psychiatrist opinion immediately. Regarding managing work situation in the meantime, you can consider the following options: 1. Check if your employer has occupational health doctor, if so, you can speak to him/her for advice. 2. Talk to your line manager about the challenges you are facing and it's negative effects on both self and the company. 3. You can request Psychiatrist to write to your employer regarding the challenges at work alongwith recommendations for some adjustments at work. Best wishes.
