Itchy bottom
My two year old son has been suffering for months with an itchy bum, coming out in a rash, i assumed it was a heat rash due to nappies, but having just potty trained him, he doesn’t wear nappies now at all and the problem is anything seems to be getting gradually worse, he seems very itchy and can’t stop going at his bum, causing him to leave scratch marks also as it’s so sore for him.

If it's in the perianal area, worms are usually the cause. Deworm him using syp albendazole 10 ml as a single dose. Also, make sure his nails are cut short, and he doesn't get to scratch directly on the skin. Apply elovera cream twice a day.
