Itchy Ears
All day today both of the insides of my ears have been incredibly itchy. The itching is almost unbearable. I've tried so hard not to itch the inside with my fingers but I can't help it. A few months ago I had a nasty ear infection that took several visits to different doctors and many rounds of steroids and antibiotics to go away. I'm not sure the doctors ever knew why/how it occurred or what it was. I'm afraid of it happening again. What could be causing this itching and how can I stop it?

You seem to be suffering from fungal infection of the ear canal which is known as otomycosis. Treatment includes thorough cleaning of ear canal and application of anti fungal drops for few days
