Itchy Hives
For the last few months possibly last November suddenly I found itchy hives on my body. At first I didnot care much but As the time passed it grew worse. It seems that when I write something on my skin with my nails or any pointed object, itchy hives comes out resembling the name. The itchiness became so unbearable that I decided to have antihistamine tablets (Livocet) one per day. The day I stopped having the tablets, hives will reappear the following day. Last month I visited a doctor who  said it to be urticaria (based on my verbal description only) and gave me certain tablets to have along with the advice of not eating histamine rich foods. I maintained everything. The day before  Yesterday was the last day of the course he suggested to follow and Frankly after I stopped having those medicines I feel the itchiness is coming back. What is it? Why isnt it getting any better? Will I have to continually rely on drugs?  Please help Thank you in advance.
