Jaw stiffness,teeth grinding, headache
Hello Dr I'm a 31 years old male,have anxiety disorder since childhood n I'm on medicines for the same from my psychiatrist since 12 years I have been having this disorder of grinding my tooth from many a years n know tat it may be due to stress n anxiety I grind my teeth almost every night so loud tat others can notice it.. My teeths r broke n had a crown for 5 teeths past 5 years ago I have been having severe left side headaches at my sides,left eye vision bluryness,light sensitivity,left side jaw stiffness n lil swelling,earaches, very sensitivity to sounds,dizziness n balance issues ,confusions etc I have had cervical  MRI n whole Spine MRI plus MRI head with doctors recommendation I ll send my report to u doctor Plz let me know ur suggestion plz It's very difficult for me to.lead the life n to do daily activities Kindly help Thank u

Ok. Your problems are due to grinding and clenching. That is the source of all your problems as far as pain headache, shoulder pain, spasm. There is nothing wrong elsewhere. You are on medication for anxiety which is good. Keep your anxiety levels low. They are the reason you grind your teeth. What you need is a night guard after restoring your teeth to proper form and function. This will prevent further damage to your teeth and also protect your jaw joints. Don't worry. Everyone has some or other cross to bear. You will be fine. Just find a good dentist with knowledge of TMJ and mangement of bruxing. Best wishes.
