Just want to know about periods

and if after this girl is having periods every month than it is very sure that she is not pregnant because I read on google that it is very common to have periods in pregnancy then you think it is not normal?
And can we google on health related issues or we have to consult directly to the doctor because google have so many links that a person will confuse what is correct statement or what is not. Because some sites says it is impossible to have periods in pregnancy and some says it is possible to have periods in pregnancy who one is correct and I am not getting proper answer?
