Do Kegel exercises help in curing constipation caused due to rectal prolapse? If so, how long will it take to see results? If not, what treatments are available?

Excercises help strengthen pelvic floor and can relieve symptoms of constipation especially evacuation difficulties. But atleast 3 months of regular exercise is needed for response. Constipation due to delayed colonic transit and patients with diabetes show little or no response.
