Kidney stone
Hi, my mother is suffering from severe stomach pain and a near by general physician asked us to do a scan and the report says she has stones in both the sides. Its 15.2 mm in size and has moved to ureter. He suggested to undergo lithotripsy procedure using soundwave method. Should I consult a urologist for a second opinion. Due to the lock down hospitals are not taking patients in. Can someone please help?

Kindly get blood reports CBC and RFT. It will determine how urgent she needs intervention. Where do you live, it is not like hospitals are not doing surgeries. In case TLC is high or RFT are Deranged its a kind of semi emergency and she should underwent intervention. Secondly for lithotripsy, i feel there are better procedures than that like RIRS /PCNL.
Next Steps
Get your blood investigations (CBC and RFT) and reconsult
