Kidney stone of 7.4mm, 6.6mmand 5.8 mm
My father is diagonosed with 7.4 mm, 6.6 mm and 5.8 mm stone in right kidney and 6mm, 5.5 mm, and two stones of 3.5 mm in left kidney. Will he need surgey or any medicine will help to pass these stones through urine? Please help

Considering that the calculi are more in number and large enough to block the tube, it is better to either go for ESWL or RIRS ( endoscopic surgery)

There r two options for u.. First is RIRS, for removal of all stones.. Second is DJ stent placement followed by ESWL... Sometimes stone may pass by only placing DJ stent

Spontaneous expulsion is unlikely. Treatment options are RIRS WITH LASER PCNL ESWL with stenting Need more information for planning treatment

Treatment of stone requires, the doctor to see the size and site of stones, only the stone causing obstruction to the passage of urine from kidney, May need a surgical solution. In short, you need to consult a urolgist, who should see the films and decide which stone need medication and which needs to be mechanical removal ( surgical solution)

He will be needing surgery Either now or a little later, as stones from kidney will pass through ureter, and before reaching bladder they will get stuck in ureter. Some might Pass and some might stuck The stones which will get stucked, are the problematic ones.
