Hello Currently u don't need treatment for small stones .   Unless u r a pilot or army guy where fitness requires complete clearance of stones Currently our goal is 1. to prevent these small stones from getting bigger and 2. To prevent new stone formation. For goal no. 1 -- Drink 1 glass of fluids ( water, home made juices, etc but not aerated n sugar loaded cold drinks ) every 2 hours. This is the best way to prevent new stone formation Also- take citrus fruits ( orange, pineapple) as much as possible Non veg restriction to 2 times a week n Salt restriction Guidelines recommend s. Intact PTH test - to rule out hyperparathyroidism N if stone report shows oxalate or uric acid stones -- syrup alkalizer can help prevent stone formation
