Knee and elbow joint pain.
Hello doc...I am 26 year old only and I have started noticing mild knee joint pain past 2 months. I have no systemic illness till now. Sometimes elbow joint also pains. My mother and grandmother both have arthritis problem. I want to know the etiology of it and diagonis.

Hello dear Your pains are most probably due to weak cartilage and weak muscles on account of lack of exercises and vitamin deficiencies. However you saying that arthritis runs in your family gives me more to think about. I would really want to know what kind of arthritis they have and at what age did they develop it. Additionally if you have had any blood tests recently, i would want to have a look at them too. Regards Dr Vipin Gupta

Patellofemoral pain mostly . Needs evaluation to pin point the diagnosis . Start with quadriceps exercises and walk 45 min daily .
