Knee joint pain
My mom got excessive pain in her knee joint from yesterday night.
Yesterday in the day time she eat the freezed dhai so i dought it is tha cause of it and also she is the patient of diabetes.
Can can be the quick solution for now?? she is in pain now also

Knee pain at this age is mostly due to osteoarthritis. For immediate relief she can be given paracetamol tablet 500mg round the clock for few days. In case of no response, she can be given tablet Ibuprofen. Once pain is relieved she needs to start knee physiotherapy. Being diabetic she should not take anti inflammatory drugs on long term basis.For pain relief without analgesics she can consult a pain specialist for treatmentoptions like Genicular block.

avoid squatting, cross legged sitting.
