Age is just a number.
If she is having knee pain which prevents her from moving about and doing routine activities. And she is motivated.
Then get her checked up by your orthopedic surgeon and anaesthesist to find out if she is fit for the procedure.
If yes then go for it.

Hi,
It depends on the medical comorbidities present as well as severity of the symptoms. There is obviously risk at this age but if patient is suffering from severe symptoms not relieved by medicines , surgery is the last resort.
