Lack of concentration and depression
Teenagers face a problem of attachment and friendship. This is my first year into college and I'm too having the same problem. But mine one is a bit different. I used to trust anyone easily earlier but due to some instances I rarely trust anyone and when I do it's like I won't give up on that person. So I had a best friend (a girl actually) whom I trust more than anyone else but due to increased closeness we started having fights (from my besties side). These fights led to end of our friendship because somewhere or the other I had started loving her (maybe). Now I don't see a single chance of forgiving me from her side (as she already gave me 9 chances which are much more than enough). Now I'm not able to keep myself happy (as I saw my happiness in the time spent with her) and I'm not able to concentrate on my studies and other things. Also sometimes I think of leaving all this and starting with a new life. I tried to harm myself twice. This has also led to depression once.

Concentration is majorly a biological issue. Improper Sleep and Skipping breakfast are the main two big reasons for less concentration. Now to the third that is distraction. Usually distractions can be managed by time bound activities. See a psychologist and make a action plan with him.

Hi I understand what you are saying. I can also understand how important this friendship is for you, especially because you trusted her. As far your bestie is concerned well her behaviour shows that maybe you were all while more concerned about the relationship than her, otherwise she would never have done this. You have your whole life in front of you start focussing on the positives around you. Express yourself share it with parents if you can. And take immediate help by a Psychologist.  I am there to help you out, being a professional I would also want to interact with some elder in your family so that we can together support you.
