Lack of taste
I have lost the sense of taste. This is going on for a very long time like 5-6 years. Every month or in 2 months there comes a week where i lose the taste for like 5-7 days usually after cold.
This time it has been 11 days and it was without any cold.
I am a smoker as well . I smoke 4-5 cigarettes a day. This is happening before started smoking.

Smell and taste are inter-related. If you have a blocked nose or sinusitis smell is lost which may cause the taste to be lost as well. Kindly get your nose examined by a ENT specialist and take treatment accordingly
