LASIK is usually done for distance vision correction. There is technology for presbyopic correction as well but the results are not very encouraging at the moment atleast in my experience. If u are interested in getting your distance vision corrected consult a qualified Ophthalmologist and get a complete eye checkup done including corneal pachymetry and topography. If ther is no contraindications you can undergo LASIK.
