There is so many reasons of this type of pain. First u should mention age, medical history etc. Because if pain in left side than we also try to understand any other pathology rather than musculoskeletal. If cradiac is ok than it may be radiating pain or reffered pain . So better u should visit on our clinic.
If we presume that it's your non dominant hand, then your domestic and professional work requires the left hand to be used more to apply force and grip things. This overwork and overuse can lead to some knots or trigger points in the muscles.
Next Steps
rest, reduce power and grip strength, appropriate stretching exercises

Hi Mam,
Is the pain radiating from shoulder to hand? If so it could be cervical issues. But any ways as you have mentioned pain in thumb area it could be a possible dequerian disease inflammation of the tendon near anatomical snuff box. Kindly consult near by physician or write back with the pic of pain area and type of pain. So you can find a better solution.
Next Steps
Initially check your movements of neck and shoulder if you can move them freely this is purely a problem as mentioned above else should require a investigation. Also lump you have mentioned can be a lypoma or a nodule pl check it is a movable one or tender. If tender apply some ice initially followed by therapy for both.
According to symptoms- it might be De Quervain's tenosynovitis at thumb and tennis elbow at fore arm , the lump which u mentioned might b knots(trigger points )
Visit nearest physiotherapy clinic and take ultrasound ift and Manual therapy
