Left Atrial Enlargement
My aunt is under digoxin and nebivolol for old mitral commusirotomy and persistent atrial fibrillation. Her LA size is being increased over the years. Presently it is 5.5 cm. Do I need to worry about it? Does it mean heart failure? What is the maximum size that it can go? How to reduce the same? Pls advise.
