Left tonsile lymp node swelling
I do have left lymp node swelling from last 20 days pain while drinking hot and ear pain, i took antibiotics but 20% relief some time it becomes small some time same, i had sore throat. And red throat but now now redness reduced, but Swelling not yet heal properly. Whats can be the cause? I am smoker 4 cig per day. My gp suggest to take madrol but do not want to take... Pleade check picture

Looks more of congested throat... can happen in smokers...pain while swallowing suggests pharyngitis... node in a smoker should always be looked with suspicion...consistency of node and area of node /tenderness are also important.. require clinical examination for further investigations.Can do an USG neck and upload
