You have thyroid problems. People with Diabetes, Asthma or Thyroid disorders can have certain factors in their blood which cause their own body to attack their own joints.
Next Steps
Please get the following investigations done... 1) Serum Uric Acid 2) Serum RA factor In the meanwhile, avoid sitting/sleeping on the floor, avoid using stairs and avoid using Indian Toilet. Do get back with the blood reports.

Have you ever got any investigations to know the cause of pain. There may be varied reasons for pain in knee at this age most common being weakness and vit d deficiency.. Is the pain throughout the day or only intermittently.
Next Steps
I will suggest you to get x ray of knee joints to know the condition of bone. You may also need to get calcium, vit d levels checked.
Health Tips
Start with physiotherapy and knee strengthening exercises. That will help in relieving the pain.
