My father underwent a surgery for varicose veins last September. Prior to the surgery he underwent another surgery to heal the wounds near the veins that were protruding in this skin. After the main surgery for varicose veins, his legs swell if kept down for a short span of time. The doctors have adviced him to keep it upright or in a horizontal position... To help the blood flow against gravity. It nearly a year since his surgery and this hasn't healed yet. Kindly advice
