High Lipid profile doesn’t cause differences in systolic & Diastolic bp Visible changes in Lipid profile takes approximately 3 months but medicine are continued for longer time

No the lipid profile being high will not affect the systolic an diastolic BP but will affect your heart over time by building plaque in your arteries and causing atherosclerosis. The values will normalize over 3 months after which you will be required to continue the medication to maintain it at the proper levels. These following lifestyle changes may help: - Exercise regularly(Preferably High Intensity Interval Training which would be an effective cardio work out) - Reduce weight and maintain a healthy weight as per your BMI(you're currently in the obese category) - Avoid sugar treats, fatty food, oily/ deep fried food items. - Have food items such as fish(rich in omega 3 fatty acids such as salmon), flax seeds, garlic, foods rich in soluble fiber. - Eliminate trans fats from your diet - Limit your consumption of foods high in saturated fats. For example, substitute olive oil for butter
