Lipoma behind neck
I have Lipoma behind my neck about 1-2 cm in diameter. It started around 1.5 yrs back with very small in size. Initially there was no pain, but from last 2 days there is some pain in the same.
Please let me know can it be cure with medicines or surgery is the only option to get it removed.

I can understand your concern.
Lipoms usually its a painless thing and causes only cosmetic problems.
It cannot be treated medically. Surgical means is the only treatment for it.
Kindly consult a general surgeon in person for further evaluation and management.

If this swelling is increasing in size n gives u discomfort or pain then u shud consult a general surgeon.
