Lipoma behind neck
I have Lipoma behind my neck about 1-2 cm in diameter. It started around 1.5 yrs back with very small in size. Initially there was no pain, but from last 2 days there is some pain in the same. Please let me know can it be cure with medicines or surgery is the only option to get it removed. Thanks

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Lipoms usually its a painless thing and causes only cosmetic problems. It cannot be treated medically. Surgical means is the only treatment for it. If this swelling is increasing in size n gives u discomfort or pain then u shud consult a general surgeon.
