Hi..lipoma is a lump that is made of fat tissues..they are generally soft to touch, movable and painless and can occur in different parts of the body..there are different types of lipoma and diagnosis is usually done with examination, x Ray,ultrasound or sometimes biopsy...so u I would advise u to meet a surgeon who will do a thorough clinical examination and advise u on the further treatment. Usually lipoma removal is not necessary unless they painful or restrict movement or for cosmetic reasons ..so kindly consult a surgeon for further examination
