Liver enlargement- Should I not smoke?
Hi,
I have got a liver enlargement recently (3 weeks ago) in sonography test and the doctor has advised to consume very less alcohol, oily/junk food.
Also wanted to know- do I need to stop smoking also for this? Or that won't effect this issue.

Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
Not less alcohol. No doctor will say consume less alcohol, he would have said quit alcohol.
And yes, smoking also needs to be quit.
The sooner the better.
The liver may go back to being normal but if you keep abusing, then it may create a problem.
