Liver function test results
I am a 31 yrs old female, I recently got my blood test done, in the liver function test i got high value of ALT (173), GGT (107) and SGOT(93). I dont consume alcohol and i have fairly moderate diet. However I have history of antibiotics use and just 10 days back I had Mafenamic acid 500 mg tablets for my menstural cramps. I want to have an idea from you whether further tests are necessary?

You can either consult with a general physician or a gastroenterologist. You will require an ultra sound scan of the abdomen to correlate the findings. Maintain a healthy diet, avoid fatty, greasy, oily and junk food, exercise regularly which will help in reducing the levels as well, but any underlying cause for the elevated reading should be evaluated.
