Liver problem
My SGOT is 171 and SGPT is 240. ALP is 89. What does that mean?? I am having difficulty in eating anything. I feel lyk vomiting everytime

High SGPT could be due to viral infection or fatty liver. So these things are to be investigated.
Next Steps
Get USG liver done repeat SGPT, SGOT after 7 days of first test. If it remains same, rule out Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C infection. Consult Hepatologist.
Health Tips
don't neglect persistently elevated SGPT level.      These are the patient's which later on develop cirrhosis.
