Living with Floaters
Dear doctors, thank you so much for your help. Especially doctor mittal, every time I get nervous about my floaters I think of your experience of living with it. It gives me hope and strength. This time I am here to ask all of you to be the kindest and suggest me a good antioxidant capsule I can take to stall the liquefaction and keep my eyes and most importantly the vitreous healthy. Also suggest me any lifestyle changes that I can incorporate to improve or avoid any deterioration. Thank you so much....

Hello A. You should focus on healthy diet especially green vegetables, fruits and nuts .these are rich source of antioxidants. B. Liquifaction is an age related change and I really doubt if antioxidants play any role in preventing this. Moreover, vitreous is healthy and does not need extra care. C. Life style changes include 1. Blink a lot 2. Reduce screen time 3. Use antiglare glasses 4. Use Lubricating eyedrop frequently Please feel free to contact me anytime

Floaters are usually nonpathological.please learn to omit them but get your fundus examination done so as to exclude any retinal problem If you are a regular computer user then you are likely to develop computer vision syndrome (dryness)please put some lubricant eye drops eg teardrops 3to 4times daily and ocupol.dx eye oint to be rubbed twice daily on lids and take some antioxidants cap once daily eg revital one cap daily
Next Steps
Follow some precautions eg follow 20.20 formula ie close your eyes for 20.seconds after every 20  minutes and keep proper distance between eyes and screen ie approx 20.inches.wash your eyes frequently with fresh water and don't sit facing the ac or blowers and consume lot of fresh fruits and vegetables .
