Sir then i would suggest consult pediatrician if activity reduced. Also u need work up for any secondary lactose intolerance if this continues bcz most of viral diarrhoeas improve in 2 to 3 days.

Most loose motions in small babies are viral in origin and antibiotic has no role. Stop taxim-o. Just give breastfeeds at regular gaps of atleast 3 to 3-1/2 hours, add ors after every loose motion if watery and continue with Enterogermina vial half vial twice a day for 5 days. If baby is feeding normally and is active physically and passing urine normally, just wait,as viral infection takes time to heal sometimes. But if accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or fever or dullness and refusal to feed, consult again. Ensure strict hygiene in feeds.
