Loose motion
Hello doctors
My baby aged 6 months now.. Her weight was 6.5 last month and now she is suffering from loose motion 4 times per day and sje is not urinate from last 5 hours what can i do now. No vomiting and she is active.

Dear parents,
As your child is 6month old stop giving milk by bottle &start giving semisolid diet like Dal,dalia,khicdi alu kela rice,apple,upama,halwa,patolia,rab,kadi idle poha satu custard etc and from 80pmto8am give mother milk is preferable.
For loose motion get ORS &give enough ors solution so that hydration is mentioned &baby can pass urine.

Such illness (diarrhoea and vomiting) is very common at this age. It is good that there is no vomiting in your child.
There is no medicine to stop diarrhoea immediately in children. Giving ORS and plenty of liquids is the mainstay of the therapy.
Next Steps
Your child should pass urine 3 to 4 times minimum.
