Loss of sensation of shoulder
After motor vehicle accident i lost sense and movement of shoulder but fingers movement are there.MRI report shows nerve root avulsion C4-C5 ,C5-C6 but continuity is maintained.

Neck Exercises. Neck Stretching. Postural Correction. Shoulder Shrugs. Take frequent Breaks at work. Core Strengthening Exercises. Use cervical pillow. Use Back Support. Self Massage the back of neck.

Dear sir. It looks like you have brachial plexus injury where root avulsion is present. Please see a good orthopaedic surgeon/ or a neurosurgeon who deal with brachial plexus injuries. Frankly there are very few available in India. The treatment options are limited, in the meantime do passive stretching of the limb and shoulder. There are many surgeries to be used as salvage to help you out with a few routine activities. Rest can be told only after examination and seeing you in person, if possible. If you could tell where you live i can recommend someone ..
