Hai doctor, since last 5 months I couldn't feel the sweetness of any sweet food. Whatever sweet I eat like chocolate, sweet, ice cream or any other sweet it tastes nothing to me. And from few days I was observing that whatever dish I eat it tastes like there is no salt in it or it contains very less salt to the dish. I was unable to find sweetness and salt in the foods. Please help me in curing this problem. Please provide me a home remedy which can cure this within no time. Thank you.

Loss of taste can happen due to various reasons ranging from common cold to more serious medical conditions involving the central nervous system. The senses of taste and smell are closely linked. The flavours in food can be tasted because of a combination of your ability to smell and taste. In some cases, your taste buds may be functioning just fine, but your sense of smell is the problem. Advise you to consult an E.N.T.(ear-nose-throat) specialist for the diagnosis of your problem.
Proper clinical examination by a dentist as well as an ENT specialist will be required to arrive at the exact diagnosis of your problem.... right treatment can be instituted only after the right diagnosis.....
do not delay in getting that consultation..... also please understand that home remedies are not the solution for all the problems and you should not expect miraculous results overnight for the problem that you have been facing for months..... have patience and trust your doctors.....
