Low amniotic fluid index
Doctor Can it take glucose to increase my amniotic fluid index. My AFI is 10 cm only. And I am 36 week pregnant. Kindly suggest what should I do to increase it

Hi.... Your baby regularly swallows amniotic fluid, and passes it out of his body as urine. This means that the amount of fluid in the amniotic sac normally rises and falls every day. ....It depends on what's causing the low level of fluid, how little there is, and how far along you are in your pregnancy..... Consult your gynecologist for further advice....
