Low grade fever with cheek swelling
My son 6 years old having low grade fever since yesterday, while we observed his cheek swelling and also inside mouth found gum erection. We suspect this may be problem for his low grade fever , can we get treatment suggestions.

Betadine gargles three times a day.He will require antibiotic let me know the weight,till then you can give syp I uge sic plus 7.5 ml for pain and fever

Give paracetamol for the fever for a day or 2 and observe the swelling. If it increases, better to consult.

If fever is mild then nothing to worry. Give pcm as per dose for 2-3 days

The swelling in the gums may be the cause of his fever especially if it’s also painful and red. You need to do a physical consultation with a doctor. Meanwhile keep mouth clean. Use salt water gargles if he can without swallowing

If the child is feeding, sleeping and is feeling comfortable then no need to worry. just give paracetamol syrup if he is having fever more than 100 f.
