Adding iron rich foods to your diet just helps to maintain iron. For increasing iron content you need to take  iron supplements. That will help to raise your iron levels and therefore hemoglobin levels within two months.

Please do complete blood count test which clear the type of anaemia you have. Although this is mild anaemia case but this may not be due to iron deficiency so iron supplementation are not giving desired results. Possibilities of invisible blood loss though urine or stool also may be the reasons. Your problem required a definitive diagnosis to resolve completely.
Next Steps
consult online for further quarries

Your hemoglobin level hasn't fallen to any alarming level yet. There can be a battery of reasons for low hemoglobin in a male of such young age like yours. There are chances you are having occult bleeding in stool or urine which may or may not be visible to naked eye. You might also be suffering from hypothyroidism. There can be a bunch of other reasons also. But you must not worry at all, because all of these are very much reversible. Visit a general physician or a hematologist.
Next Steps
You may get a Stool OBT&OPC, Urine RE ME and Serum TSH done.
