Hi it could be due to continued trauma or biting in that area of swollen gums..due to erupting wisdom tooth.. kindly get a x-ray done for that side and visit the nearby dentist asap..

Please visit a dentist and get complete evaluation done bades on x-rays.If your wisdom tooth has erupted then its linia alba or cheek bite. if your tooth has not erupted its a Operculum or Pericoronal flap which needs to be removed as mentioned by fellow doctor

Hello sir. If your wisdom tooth has erupted then its linia alba or cheek bite. if your tooth has not erupted its a operculum or pericoronal flap which needs to be removed. You need to confirm the diagnosis and treatment plan by visiting a dentist or an Oral surgeon preferably.
