When Vit D is < 20 ng/mL (< 50 nmol/L): then it is Vitamin D deficiency. Recommended doses are 50,000 international units of D3 once weekly for 6 weeks. However I am from India and I won't be able to suggest you any brand names but you can always visit a pharmacist where there are calcium tablets combinations with Vitamin D available. Those are to be taken one tablet daily for 6 weeks. Or else only Vitamin D3 sachets are available which are to be mixed in milk and taken once a week for 6 weeks.
