What does these lines means , once done MRI 1. partially desiccated L5/S1 disc with mild postero central disc protrusion, leading to thecal sac and attendant cauda equina nerve roots indentation with bilateral L5/S1 lateral recesses compromise leading to bilateral s1 exiting nerve root indentation 2. partially desiccated L4/5 disc with mild postero central disc bulge leading to thecal sac and attendant cauda equina nerve roots indentation

In my view the radiological changes are reflective of the stress that one exerts on the lumbar spine from birth till the time the investigation is undertaken. Your observations reveal that there is some amount of wear and tear occurring at those levels making the disc weak. Such weak discs need to be protected by good posture, ergonomic way of functioning and strengthening the core muscles as well as addressing any muscular imbalances of the legs.
