Lower back sprain /injury
I had a lower back sprain or injury 15 days ago. This happened while lifting a small bucket. I am still taking rest anf applying Ankyek hot gel. I struggle the most while getting up from the bed and pain still persist. Would be great of you could tell me if this is normal or not. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for asking me to respond. This is certainly not normal. A simple back strain should improve within a week to ten days time. If the pain persists or keeps increasing then you need to consult an ortho surgeon. It could indicate that an underlying disc related issue, which will need xrays and scans, medicines and physio. I cannot prescribe meds here as Practo forbids me to do so.
