There can be multiple reasons to pain originating in relation to the wisdom tooth, most common being a tooth decay or food impaction, and bacterial growth around the tooth causing a condition called pericoronitis. For moderate to severe pain, ketorol dt  10 mg can be taken (relief can be experienced in 30 mins) and mouth rinsing with salt added in warm water is advised for several times a day ( 5 - 7 times) for better comfort.
Next Steps
The best possible way to approach to this issue is to visit a dental doctor at the earliest.
Health Tips
Try to chew food on the unaffected side, and try to be cautious about food reaching the affected side which will aggravate the pain. soft liquid diet is advised.
