Lt infected ischemic ulcer
My husband is 53 years old, he is a kniwn case of DM and HTN. He is admitted in SMC in Bahrain with lt infected ulcer. Pt. Underwent angioplasty twice for his lt. Lower limb showing single vessel runoff " anti tibial" Currently the wound is ischemic with resufing infection

The infected wound needs to be taken care of with debridement and appropriate antibiotic based on culture reports. His sugars levels also need to be strictly controlled. He being admitted to hospital I am sure the same is being done. Also he may need to for revascularization in the ischaemic limb.
