Lump in left sidr Breast
A small lump developed in left side breast of my wife, she is feeding to a 1 year old baby. The lump was very small in size from almost 5 months, now it is growing gradually, it is also little painful she says, please advise us.

Seems like a lactation cyst . It will resolve on its own. However you should observe whether patient gets fever , increase in pain at the site.,

Don't do hot fomentations.. If baby is feeding well , then don't squeeze out milk.

It seems that she has mastitis, it happens sometimes in feeding mothers.

kindly continue to express milk from the affected side) breast pump) and do hot foments.
Health Tips
In case she developes fever then she may require antibiotics. Rarely surgery is indicated.
