Lump in vein of hand

I have lump in my vein of hand . 2 months ago i have been operation pf gb stone . After operation . antibiotics,water provide to my body by injecting needle in vein of my hand and a lump would appear after 10 days . And some people advice me to use ice on it.
Can i apply the ice on it ? Is it right ?

Hi,
This is an answer from Ayurveda point of view.
Ideally ice should be applied to swelling due to inflammation because it helps to constrict the blood vessels and reduce swelling.
You can use the ice if there is inflammation still or if the lump has fluid in it. Otherwise I doubt whether it will be very helpful.
I believe that the lump should be gone all by itself after some days.
Please use following medicines if required.
Poonarnava (Himalaya) - 2 tabs with Khadirarishta 10 ml after every meal.
