Lump near anal opening
I have a small lump near the anal opening. It comes and goes for past few months. I am experiencing pain and itching often. I suspect haemorrhoids. What is my problem and what treatment should I take? Today I took a picture of the lump through my phone and I saw a small swelling which is like transparent and shiny. I'm out of town for one more month and so couldn't consult a doctor.

Hi, lump at anal canal may be due to a perianal abscess and this generally pains. Other causes are of external hemorrhoids with doesn't cause pain but occasionally when get thrombosed causes pain. A skin tag formation secondary to fissure in ano also presents same but that pains. Kindly get evaluated physically. You may require a short scopy done to rule out above problems. Feel free to ask any further quary related to your problem. Regards.
