I visited one of the best ents in the city regarding the lump. He said that its normal and I have nothing to worry about. I even had a sonography done for it. Even after the result the doc said the same thing. Its normal. Its okay. But i still have doubts because he didnt even prescribe anything and i dont think it's going to go away on it's own. But now I'm still living with the lump and I sing and in my mind I am very positive that this lump sort of thing is definitely messing with my singing. It makes me hold back the higher ranges in a song. What could it be? What should i do?

May be a lymph node swelling or salivary gland swelling or fat lump. If asymptomatic you need not worry. Very unlikely that this swelling may cause voice problems, unless it's malignant or infiltrating swelling.
