Hi i just want to know what are the posible cause of havin a blood in phlegm with no cough?i have diagonose with tb 10 yrs ago. Still waiting for my x ray lab and sputum.does it mean havinf a blood in phlegm is a sign that my tb got reactivated or theres is another cause for this?thanks.

Hi. I understand your concern s. It could be a sign of TB reactivation. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest.

Tb sequelae can also cause bloody sputum.. Better get a ct scan chest done asap
