Massive hair loss
It has been 4 years I am suffering from massive hairloss. Even I have built up with extremely thin hair and long bald patches on top which dermatologists say female pattern hairloss. I have visited several dermatologists. No one could actually arrest the problem. Had done all the required blood tests. I don't have thyroid. But yes I was diagnosed with vry low vitamin D level. For that I am taking uprise d3 60k as per doctor's prescription. I even had used 2% minoxidil solution. Nothing worked even caused more fall. Last month my dermatologist has suggested me to take Hair fact f3-o2(6mnths) proanagen tablets. Tarich shampoo and la matisse shampoo. Now the thing is since one month I am facing even more and very bad kind of hairfall especially after shampooing. It's falling like cats and dogs. Patches are becoming wider. I really don't have any idea what's wrong going with me. Last month I have spent 5000 rupees for just hair and skin medicines. It's really being hard day by day for me.

There are many reasons for hairfall or thinning of hair on the scalp. So first and foremost we have to find the cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia or patterned baldness, hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Oils or shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin. Moreover, you should never self treat with anything. Please call me or send photographs using online consult option for proper diagnosis and detailed prescription.
