Medical precaution
I'm undergoing treatment for juvenile myoclonic epilepsy for last 6 years. I'm taking VALPARIN CHRONO-200 twice a day. Recently I went to a psychiatrist for anxiety and depression issue. He prescribed me tab. DEPSERT-100 mg. Is it safe to take this medicine for epileptic patients ? I forgot to ask this from my doctor so please help.

Hello Mr Yes if you have clinical depression and if the Psychiatrist have prescribed you medications after assessment, you can very well take it without any concern. I assume the DEPSERT's chemical name is Sertraline and yes you can take it with your anti epileptic medications
Next Steps
Yes start taking DEPSERT
