I understand it can be so much tormenting to be in this situation , specially when you don't know what has happened to you.
You need a genuine psychiatric evaluation , there are psychotic disorders which alter your brains normal functioning and thinking.
But these disorders do have treatment ,

You have not given details of diagnosis and treatment. It seems your psychiatrist has started a mood stabilizer for your symptoms. 25 mg is a starting dose and not therapeutic levels. It will take at least a week to reach desired levels. Keep patience. You can consult your treating psychiatrist.
